Revealing a much darker side of his repertoire, Spencer Robelen's latest collection of electronica consists of three suites. "Aluminum Bodies" is a musical and mechanical score for Evita Zacharioglou's dance film set in a machine factory. "Antigone" is a selection of spacey incidental music composed for Anne Carson's translation of Sophocles' classic play, directed at Columbia University by Isabelle Sarah Kettle. And "The Yellow Wallpaper" is a haunting multimedia ballet, also choreographed by Evita Zacharioglou, based on the classic short story of the same name.
